For a Headshot Day, that might mean planning team size, appointment flow, backdrop and location. For an executive session, we may talk through wardrobe, settings and the different ways the portraits will be used. Commercial projects may begin with a shot list, product requirements, locations and campaign needs.

Every location and project is a little different. We’ll work through the specifics with you during planning, but these are some of the practical questions that come up most often.
Do you always photograph inside the mobile studio?
No. The mobile studio gives us a dedicated professional photography space at your location, but it isn’t the right approach for every project. We can also set up inside your workplace, photograph outdoors, or work throughout your environment depending on the images we’re creating.
What does the mobile studio need at our location?
We’ll confirm the site requirements with you before your session. In general, we need appropriate access and a suitable place to position the truck and trailer. Shore power can be used when available, and the studio can also operate with generator power when needed.
How should our team prepare for headshots?
We won’t leave you guessing. Before your session, we’ll provide preparation guidance you can share with participants. Headshot and portrait clients receive our Preparing for Your Headshot guide with practical information about wardrobe, eyewear, expression and what to expect in front of the camera.
Can you provide hair and makeup?
Yes. Hair and makeup services can be coordinated when appropriate for the project. Individual and executive sessions can include full hair and makeup services, while larger Headshot Days may use camera-ready touchups designed to keep the schedule moving.
What happens if weather affects the session?
Weather matters differently depending on the project. The mobile studio provides a controlled photography environment in a wide range of conditions, while outdoor photography may require us to adjust the schedule or plan. We’ll discuss weather considerations and backup options in advance when they’re relevant.
Is the mobile studio accessible?
The studio was designed with a rear accessibility ramp, and we’ll discuss any specific accessibility needs during planning so we can determine the best setup for your session.
